Yeah, you're probably right. It was later than 8.3.
And let's not forget the goodbye scene in 5.5, on the wharf.

One of my favourite Ruth scenes is when Harry is asking her whether any institution in the country is safe from her and she humbly replies "I like to think not" - (episode 3.8)
