For me, Adam was the better spook. I agree with what others said above - it's partly due to the fact that he was more committed, and he was also more ruthless. When needed, he didn't flinch away from doing the dirty work. Also, I liked the fact that he had a stable home life when he was introduced, and that this didn't take up so much of the story-time as Tom's used to do.

I liked Tom more because tom made an attempt to have a "normal" life and not get to wrapped up in "the job". Seems like tom wanted more of a balance and Adam was "the job" 24/7 which seemed to be exhausting. After fiona died, instead of getting closer to his son, he went straight for digging himself into the job. Would tom have done that?

You have a very good point there but I'm sure throwing himself into the job was a way of coping with Fiona's death. He may also have found it painful to get close to his son because he was a constant reminder of Fiona. Also, by distancing himself a bit, Adam might have seen it as a way of protecting him. People who got too close to Adam usually ended up burnt.

Looks like people prefer Adam then...

He has rather outshadowed Tom, what with all the big storylines he got... Tom got two big storylines.. that was it really.

Yes, well, Tom was too busy with his love life to have other big storylines! Tongue

it would be boring. I love Heart both the characters just had a just thought the romance was forced and was inconsistent
