Big Grin I was on the CBBC channel website looking for info and came across a competition on Blue Peter. You have to design a TARDIS console and the winner gets to meet the cast and their console will feature in an episode in seires 6, like the Absorbaloff.

Huge downside though, the age limit is 12 and well, Matt Smith. That's rather crap. lol Tongue

Yes, I have to agree with you on both points. Although my sister could enter the competition...

Hang on, I misread it. New CONSOLE?!?! I thought it was another monster one!!!

I think it's only for one episode, that's what it said. Strange...maybe they do another time clash or something. I really don't want it to change either Angry

First of all, I have to confess to not having read the rest of the thread.

Tom Baker was the Doctor I was brought up on, so to speak. I was a huge fan of Peter Davison at the time but was not impressed with him as the Doctor. My fave Doctor though was Chris Eccleston. I loved the darkness, the dry humour and the leather jacket. I enjoyed the 1st couple of series of David Tennant but got a little worn down by him so haven't watched the last series at all. I'm looking forward to see what Matt Smith can do.

I'm not a huge John Simm fan but as the Master is going to be in David Tennant's finale then I will watch.

I didn't bother watching it.

That pretty much sums up my feeling.

They didn't want anyone older than Matt Smith entering the contest.

I really wish we had gotten more than one season of Eccleston's Doctor. i would have really liked to have him deal more with what had happened in the last great time war.

I do like David Tennant the best. Tom Baker, however, will always be the first image in my head when someone says Doctor Who. He was the Doctor when I was born I think.

I think it's on record that Chris Eccleston much prefers to be on stage and he only does TV to pay the mortgage.
