RE: Spooks merchandise - A Cousin - 17-06-2010 02:18 PM

I want Spooks Transformers. They could transform from a character to a vehicle that is most closely associated with them or at least seems to fit their personality.

e.g. Ruth => bus, Zaf => to what ever the hell it is he is driving in 4.1, Tariq => a bike, etc.

I am joking. Mostly....

Where'd you get it from, TL?

The hardest part will be narrowing down which 2 photos of dear, dear Harry to upload.Wink

I got this from Yourdesign.co.uk
I had used them before for a t-shirt so thought they would be reliable. You can chose just one design for the mug or have different front and back images or one long image that wraps around the mug.
I am sure it goes without saying, the better quality image you upload, the better the mug. The R/H image on mine is not as good as the Harry image but I couldnt get the avatar any clearer as I don't have great software on my PC.

I do have all the companion books, but it's not quite the same as all the Ashes to Ashes merchandise that is available Sad

Would love for there to be a Spooks calendar, posters etc...

Yourdesign need photos of at least 300 dpi. Any idea what that is in terms of file size? Nitrus, can you help on this one?? All the screencaps that I can access seem to be v low file size (ie 40kb or lower).

The yourdesign people require an image of no larger than 19x7cm with a resolution of 300dpi. In pixels that's 1122x413.

Give me an image and I'll show you how big it will look on the mug. The bigger the better.

Cheers, Nitrus. Here's a photo that I'd like on a mug. It's 500x334px according to the site I found it on.

^That's what it would look like flattened, so imagine it curved round and it looks good. Bit of a gap between top and bottom and the photo is only on one side of the mug.

(All of this is from my calculations and is by best guess)

Actually, that DOES look rather good - far better than I thought it could. Excellent, thanks very much Nitrus!Yahoo

Here's another Ebay seller who does personalised mugs:

These are £7.99 plus postage. I've bought mugs from this seller before and they are good quality. I'm drinking from one now, actually: Star Trek - The Original Series.

My new Spooks mug arrived today. The front image is a little fuzzy but it will do.
