RE: Weird and Wonderful stories from around the World
In light of some of the spectacular dives and play-acting we've seen in the World Cup, I give you probably the funniest football dive of all time.

OMG, that's awful. Players should be banned for play-acting.

RE: Weird and Wonderful stories from around the World
Well, here's the epitome of stupid and shortsighted:
http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/23062010/5...reats.html I'm not surprised they've received death threats. It crossed my mind, too... Offer a burger made from an endangered species... How many different kinds of stupid is that? And what is a US Dept of Agriculture farm doing raising lions to be eaten??? Sorry, bit of a rant there. "Where's Harry?" "Moving in mysterious ways." |

They couldn't have stuck to antelope or bush rat? What is the most stupid to me is the blatant stereotype they are perpetuating because when you think African animals you think about lions. Lions are not a standard protein source in Africa as far as I can tell. Maybe I being a hypocrite. I will admit that I have eaten buffalo, which are also endangered, and bear. The difference being they are accepted meat sources from prior to European settlement in the US. Now cracks a noble heart. And here I was thinking that S7 was a bit implausible because, well, the Cold War is over, isn't it?
