RE: What other TV do you watch?
We have a morning TV show like that, "The Politics Show" which focuses on specific politics, and there's BBC Breakfast which covers all news and broad political discussion, as well as the occasional entertainments feature.

Death by mascara. It was horrible to watch. Ruth's agonizing over the fact that there are no more horses in modern-day warfare and Adam's on a course learning how to lift his knuckles off the ground. So, you'll have to make do with me, I'm afraid.

The smoke explanation didn't quite convince me...

In Spain we have morning shows that talk about politics too, but most of Spanish tv is absolute rubish (I hate to say this), all about famous gossips now and then. Suicida

Thanks, but the BBC has me covered: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00...0_01_2010/

Big Grin

bertowud, would you reccomend V? I have no knowledge/experience of the original series, but the reboot looks pretty cool.

The reboot of V is pretty good and is probably better without the context of the original.

I didn't know that V had been remade (saw some of the original a long time ago). Does anyone know when it will be available in Britain ?

I'm not sure about Britain. Only 4 episodes have aired in the US so far. It's on ABC over here. It's featuring a lot of sci fi show actors.
