I also was disappointed with the ratings for the final episode although it was at a particularly bad time.

In fact the programme was badly scheduled this year with some really strong opposition in the time slot.

The BBC themselves seemed a bit at odds when they kept delaying the start and in fact pulling the first episode after it had been slotted.
