Excellent post TG! I can agree with most of what you say there.

Personally i thought this series was good but not at it's best. I thought it fell short around episodes 3-5 but the start and end were fantastic!
The lack of humanity on the grid though is probably one of my bigger issues with the series now. There aren't half as many light-hearted remarks or laughs between the team as there used to be and this made me feel like the show had lost something. Thank god for Ruth's return as i swear the majority of the emotional/moral scenes we saw were hers. (She obviously made the series for me though. If we removed Ruth from this series it would have felt utterly bitter and empty for me.)
