Here's hoping, Series 9 really does have to be it for them, things were coming along so nicely towards the end of Series 8 that it would just be odd for them to not have some form of closure on the will they won't they aspect of their relationship.

Also agree about before 5.5 and after, Harry was the instigator; asking her for dinner was the main thing really and the Havensworth corridor eye love he was giving. Now it's Ruth's turn to instigate a relationship between them. After their kiss on the dock, both of them absolutely must know that their feelings are reciprocated.
