RE: Favourite films?
Sweet November was decent. It was probably the closest Keanu's come to acting with any convincing emotion.
I know I've seen Cry-Baby, but can't remember a minute of it at this moment. Pretty Woman is a lot of fun. It just makes me smile to watch it. I will always love the scene when Julia Roberts is crying and the hotel manager picks up the phone and calls the store to get them to help her out. North & South? The TV mini series with Patrick Swayze? I've never seen Crying Freeman but really enjoyed the manga. Kazuo Koike is a favorite of mine, even if I haven't finished the Lone Wolf and Cub in it's entirety. I've only made if halfway so far. A Walk to Remember is a very touching story. I think I cry every time my wife makes me watch it (3 times now). The only real criticism I have is I can't stand Tom Sawyer...I mean Shane West. Other than Pride & Prejudice, I don't think I've even heard of the rest of your list. A few of those sound like very interesting titles. Always love your country, but never trust your government. |
