I think Harry DOES know everything about Lucas. It's just that WE don't (yet).

and that explosion in Africa - either an assassination attempt on a leader (?) or trying to destroy British interests

I think Harry "rescued" Lucas, help him change his identity, sent him to Russia to get clean away from it (and Vaughan), and possibly (even though I don't like the idea) let him languish in prison until the reasons for Africa either "died" or were no longer important.

But it sure is intriguing.

Can't wait for next week.
