the picture was photoshopped using a picture of our Lucas as raw material, and just put in an available file by the puppetmaster working the story on Lucas and MI 5.

Someone mentioned that if "John" luckily got a passport out of Dakar, after what he did, he would not join MI 5. It was the post that said "is MI 5 supposed to be a safe haven for criminals?"

what are the chances that someone's doppelganger is going to hit town just when one badly needs a ticket out? The fake Lucas North is also a suggestion. As I've speculated before, there is no John.
