Hurray! They finally admitted they love each other! Once again, you've mixed the serious bits with some great humor, and I think it's neat that you've managed to reference the tidbit we learned about Lucas's upbringing into the story once again. You've got a great eye for detail: the bit about Lucas's gun was nicely informative, and weaving in the small things like the info about Lucas's flat is a great touch, to provide more backstory for the world you've created.
