Here's hoping that the writers won't butcher another storyline if this is the last series, I suppose everyone could always die of a nuclear explosion, that may be nice! And then the series ends as Section D is completely revamped and replaced after everyone's dead, so it's a new era. Too crazy? Maybe I've had too much sugar....

Well as for Lucas being in too much of Series 9, it's more of the writers' fault for practically dropping anvils on people's heads, and the storyline was ridiculous even I would want him to stay gone if they can't redeem him.
