Yes, I agree with you, A Cousin, there is a cliff hanger for all us Harry and Ruth fans. I still can't make my mind up whether Ruth was crying for Harry or Lucas. My first instinct was that it was a release from too much pent up emotion. For me, it represents a turning point in Ruth, a cathartis if you like. When she called Harry as he was about to leave, I thought she finally understood what Harry had had to go through when she was in danger.
