Thats my thoughts exactly Downton suits Sunday Evening TV perfectly, Spooks is a little different and would be better suited to a weekday slot however, maybe it's a good thing that the BBC feel Spooks is going to be good enough to try and take on Downton Abbey

I suppose that most Spooks fans who like Downton will record Downton and watch Spooks live, like you said Naivety, that will definatly affect Downton's viewing figures There may still be some fans who will record Spooks instead, so it might even it out a little with the figures

It's going to feel strange watching Spooks on a Sunday (if it is definatly on a Sunday, which we should assume it probably is now)
