it is possible that harry has seen wes more than that time at the track and then when he goes to tell wes about his father (which is heartbreaking!)

i think as well that harry respects and likes adam, they are similer in many respects both outwardly appear cold and closed off but really care about those around them, both prepared to do what ever it takes to protcect the country ETC.

im rewatching s5 and 6 and its clear that harry has had suspicions about adam and his behaviour but wont mention it.
