OK. I'm following you. Can't say I am surprised that it was the Americans. Extraordinary rendition is a bit of a political hot button issue. Pres. Obama tried to do something about it. As well he should!
To get a little political (and play the devil's advocate for a minute - please humor me!  ), the US may be the "fat kid on the playground" (as Harry would put it) but we got a lot of "help" in the process from all over the world.Back to the story, still more questions than answers. What country have the taken Malcolm to? There are a few candidates. Why? The way you have set it up, I suspect that it has something to do with the killing of Bin Laden, but can't think how? Any chance that the only torture they are imposing on Malcolm is taking away his tea and scones.
