Ros' introduction to the team

Oh and I forgot to add that I think on some level, Ros really wanted/felt she deserved Adam's job.

Wasn't she Adam's equivalent in MI6? I think HN or RPJ mentioned it in an interview.

The Personnel Files book said she always wanted to be the leader and disliked being a team member (or something like that). I think we saw that when she really stepped up as team leader in S7.

It was hard to understand her motivation in getting his medical records. On the one hand, yes it was sneaky and you could say she was deliberately undermining him. On the other hand, she knew he was lying and he was potentially putting himself and the operation at risk. Ros had risked her life going in to rescue him in episode 8.

Did she understood her motivations properly? I think she was attracted to Adam professionally and personally and that wasn't something she was used to. It made her actions inexplicable.
