That defination is really good. That suggests everything that happend to Morgan was torture and therefore illegal in this country.

Of course, it still comes down to when does the end justify the means, which I think this episode was trying to illustrate. And of course the worst torture was treatening Morgan's daughter, which the whole team had a hand-in.
