Let's hope the ratings stay above the 5.2 million mark for the rest of the season. I think that would be enough to get them season 10, if they want it.

The problem is that 'they' is very hard to determine.

ITV have been advertising DCI Banks very heavily the past week.

While TV Times may have a vested interest in promoting the Banks programme Radio Times this week also gives it their Pick Of The Day ahead of Spooks.
