Seconded Beatriz!!! No regrets... Mind you, in my pessimistic view, knowing them, I don't think that they'll ever not have regrets. I just hope that the number of regrets minimises to a normal level

In response to TL I don't tell my dad when he's annoying me, and I don't think he's a mind-reader either (at least, not as far as I'm aware). It can get really uncomfortable when you talk to other people about how you feel about them, even if they're good friends, because you're worried that you're not going to make sense to them, that they won't understand why you think what you do, and also because if you don't mention the issue you hope it goes away. Plus I never say what I mean to my friends because I don't want to hurt them unnecessarily. If I was Ruth I would be in full scale panic mode when Harry proposed, and later I doubt I'd have the confidence to really explain why.
