I hear you about what else he has buried in his garden though. No one could clear out that quickly unless they were prepared. Once in the service; always in the service. Malcolm is either a) a back up/contingency plan and was prepared to move if anyone came calling for Albany, or b) in on it from the beginning. From his horrified reaction, I tend to think he knew exactly what "Albany" is. Shame on Lucas for grossly underestimating Malcolm.

Although I am still trying to figure out what Malcolm has to do with the Battle of Trafalgar, the painting or the actual battle. It could be as simple as he is doing his duty a la Lord Nelson. I fear my imperfect knowledge of British maritime battle history is holding me back.
