RE: Episode 1 Discussion
I've only watched the episode in its entirety once. However, I've watched the Ros/Nicholas meetings countless times. No surprise there, eh?
The scenes that stick in my mind are: 1. Ros' apology to Malcolm. She's got such a sharp tongue on her and it was good that she realised that what she'd said warranted an apology. 2. The first meeting with the Home Secretary. They've always had respect for each other but this conversation was so much softer than any ever before....maybe they've got to know each other a bit better 3. Nicola Walker's acting was just fab. The whole emotional rollercoaster that she went through due to the possibility that Nico was going to die....just brilliant. You knew just how she felt. Nothing was left to the imagination. 4. Malcolm saying he wanted to retire. This needs to be resolved IMO....no-one just says they're retiring and walks out. |
