I had no problem believing anything he said throughout the ep, especially after hearing about his efforts and problems finding someone to play football with -- he's had to grow up quickly and he's found wisdom through his struggles. He's nobody's fool though, as we hear quite clearly in his interactions with Lucas. "What is the truth?" "Betrayal is a cancer. Let it eat your soul, not mine." "Please tell me this isn't going where I think it's going." |
