We know from the teasers and Ian Wylie's blog in the upcoming episode 7 that they are on the grid trying to twart a hacker. In episode 7 she is attacked while trying to assist a person who is trying to report a covert operation to M15. Which leaves episode 8 which we don't yet know about. That doesn't leave alot of time for her to scheme up something bad against the team?

I stick to the theory that the ultimate betrayal was Nicholas Blake.

I'm with Tea Lady and Hunted, I also think that the ultimate bretrayal was refering to Nicholas Blake. I don't buy Ruth's being the traitor, and I don't think it's Lucas either. It's not in their blood. But if I had to choose between Ruth and Lucas, I'd say Lucas, he's the one who's making merits to say so...

I kinda agree that Ruth and Lucas are unlikely, but then again, this is Spooks so I can't be 100% sure.

Ruth and Lucas have both given up so much for their country and still remain loyal and stuck to their oath, so I can't see neither of them turning on it after going through so much to keep the country safe. Ruth gave up her life and family for this job. Lucas suffered 8 years of torture and didn't break his loyalty. I just can't see them suddenly turning on Harry and the country now.

And as for this whole Vaughn/Maya thing, I know Lucas isn't the best judge of character when it comes to women, but seriously, for a man who gave up everything for his country, he's going to just turn against it for one woman? After all that crap he endured to get back to his home at MI5, he's just gonna throw it all away for a woman he loved 15 years ago? Surely Lucas hasn't been that far gone off the rails!
