What other TV do you watch? (2)
What do you love, what do you hate and what are you excited about?

I'm really looking forward to seeing Sherlock. Recorded it when it was on, but haven't had the chance to view it yet, but it sounds brilliant Big Grin

Not so much looking forward to the next ep of Identity anymore though Sad

never really got into episode 2, show lacks interesting plots, chemistry, humour, originality.. not sure I'll give it another chance. 45 minutes of my life I won't get back.
City Homicide OTOH - yay!!!!! great cast, stories, and lots of suspense & laughs. One of the things to look forward to every week.
Oh, and I forgot my beloved Taggart. Nice ep on Sunday, worried now that Jackie might leave Sad .. good thing they're almost through shooting the next series. If only they were longer... I could murrrrdurrr for 10 episodes, or even 8.

I'm really enjoying Identity. There isn't much else on British telly at the moment. I like that there is no 'will they/wont they' under plot in it, but there is still the mystery of whether the Bloom character is a good guy or not. The last episode was very good, I thought.

Bloom is the only reason why I'm still half considering watching the next ep. The rest is.. meh.

me neither, way too much of a loose cannon to be creditable (if you think Luther should have got chucked out of the force, Bloom ought to be locked up). I think he is a poor attempt at re-creating Dave Creegan from Touching Evil, from a different angle, but after watching the first two episodes, his undercover B-plot is the only thing that half has my attention. Not that I much care about how it ends, mind...
And since I never got into Keeley Hawes...
meh.
Nice to see Adam's femme fatale again though, quite like Agni Scott Big Grin

Identity is no where near as good as Spooks or Ashes to Ashes, that's for sure, but it's ok entertainment when there is nothing else on. As for credibility, most TV stretches the imagination! I certainly hope there are no real life Blooms, or Luthers out there!

Never watched Luther, but I always meant to; I just forgot it was on Sad

Hardly anything is as good as Spooks or Ashes though - they've certainly set the bar very high!

Did anyone watch The Silence? I watch one episode of it, quite enjoyed it.

I was asking about The Silence on the old thread, as the head writer is someone I have loved for forever and she's Australian (Fiona Seres) - you know how I crap on about Love My Way every now and again? Aria said it was good. I'm excited about it and looking forward to when the ABC shows it here. It is a diversion for her though, she hasn't written a cop drama before as far as I know.

I think she'll be writing more for the BBC from now on as she's made the move to England.

Shazad Latif was in it too, otherwise known to us as Tariq.
