Awww....I'm sorry to hear that. It will get better and easier for both of you. Next thing you know, they get upset that they are NOT going to school!

Both of my kids have been in daycare since they were 2 months old so that's never been a problem for them. It just takes time for them to acclimate.

Or halfway crappily remembering Spanish lessons. Puedo ir al bano? That was the most frequently spoken sentence in my Spanish class in high school.

It is an absolutely beautiful day here in the New York City area: 75F with clear blue skies, the perfect day for soccer/football games, gardening, BBQ's and bike rides. It is so like that September 11th, it makes those of us who live here a bit jumpy. You can't keep your eyes off the sky.

RE: Status 2.0
I still remember where I was when the planes crashed into the towers. I was doing some work for the DAV (Disabled American Veterans) of Florida. It was pretty bizarre. There were reports of planes flying into buildings all over the place. Lots of confusion. The TV apparently had better info than the radio stations. The thing was I was freaking out on the inside and couldn't do anything about it. I had to finish my work before I could let any of that out.
