(I don't get out more, but obviously I should be rewatching more Spooks)

At various times in our house we people from 10-74 years watching this show. We may laugh at the way the characters have lines that point out the bleeding obvious, but trust me some folk need that just to keep up!

My flatmate loves Spooks, however like many people, she doesn't 'get it' in terms of the coming together of fans on a forum... she thinks doing that makes us weirdly obsessive.

I really liked this episode. Although I thought the plot (about kidnapping the scientist for desalination) was a little OTT-though not too much- I found it to be exciting and interesting (especially the emotional ending). What I liked more was Beth's development both as an officer and her character in general. She's growing on me. I also like Harry's cowbell joke and all the parts with Ruth in it.

I guess the only part I didn't like was Lucas' actions. They're really destroying his character...not a fan of that or the Lucas/Maya pairing...
