:shakes head:

BTW JHyde - I just went on fanfiction.net and started reading a new piece of fanfiction that I hadn't read before, thought I recognised it from somewhere until I realised it was this story Big Grin Blush

DANNY - Placements all over the shop. Back up vehicles, chopper support if we need it. Bomb disposal with a signal jammer for Mary’s trademark remote control blasts. And Tom here’s doing the catering. Mate. You are so covered.

Really good!! Pacing is excellent, dialogue is both realistic and believable for the characters, like others I also enjoyed the Lucas/Ruth interaction. Harry seemed a bit restrained but then came through at the end, as Ruth's teaboy yet -- I like that image, lol. Eagerly awaiting the next chap.

"Please tell me this isn't going where I think it's going."

RE: False Omen Ch. 2
Harry wasn't in chapter 2 much at all, which I really didn't like. But plenty of him to come, I promise!

I'm going to try and crack on with this tomorrow before work. Hopefully by New Years Day you will have new fan fic to enjoy before Doctor Who Smile

Thanks for your kind words.

RE: False Omen Ch. 2
Well done. I am enjoying this although I hope Lucas does not get any ideas about Ruth. She is Harry's girl....although that may make an interesting twist !!

No way. Whatever else happens I PROMISE Ruth will not be interested in Lucas and vice versa.

RE: False Omen Ch. 2
They aren't impervious to the other's charms but it's definitely not romantic. I'm a big believer of relationships between men and women that are just based on friendship, with nothing more or less, and I live it too. So I always try and have that in what I write. I usually compare my close male friends to being extra, adopted brothers; nothing romantic.

Ruth and Lucas are both gentle people - I've always thought Lucas finds the physical aspect of this job more repellent than Tom or Adam did.

I was only (half) kidding - the friends aspect is what I like so much about it.. I don't think Lucas has too many.. or Ruth, for that matter (I guess that comes wit the territory).. I'm looking forward to their next scene together Smile
