Hi,

I am really enjoying this story and have taken your advice to read it all in one sitting. This as far as I've gotten when I came across this line in the chapter above, "She barely had time to see Jo nodding once and falling slowly in pain before registering that her captive was now missing part of his head at the back." I am a little confused, is this a flashback or something to when Jo died? It just seems stuck in the middle of the paragraph and I don't understand its placement or meaning here. Thanks for any clarification.

It is meant to be a flashback to Jo's death. I'll add a couple of words there to make it clearer, thanks.
