I thought the 3 stories idea was really good because you saw things that you didnt see in the other parts. Its not a good idea to use the split stories all the time though becuase thats just not spooks.

The whole storyline wahs good apart from the bit where beth was aloud back into the team after she saved our beloved Harry. Its a good thing that she did but she shouldnt be aloud back on the team after just that though. Harry said something on the lines of 'we don't like liars in this department' and yet he let Ros back on the team after how many times???

I also hope that we get a back story for Dimitri soon because I would like to know his story.

And why does Lucas/John have a problem with that Maya lady having a boyfriend?? Its not like he's been around is it??

I just had a thought. Could the Nigerian who took the pill bottle from Lucas play a part from his past? He knew Lucas by name and he just handed the pills like nothing.

Watched it again and yes you are all right, it was her flat. I am on another planet sometimes. Nice flat though. Stainless steel kitchen and nice fireplace with lots of candles. Good for buring when she has another late night "work" tete a tete with Harry.

I assume Beth will be finding another place to live now?? I would at least put her on bathroom cleaning duties for a month and make her do the Tesco shop.

This is a really good point but how could Lucas be mixed with the nigerians?? any ideas???

Good point. And he knew his name - Mr. North that is. I had a bit of a "huh?" moment there. I didn't *think* there was a reason given that he should know Lucas' name? We know that Lucas was in North Africa but I am not sure Nigeria would be considered North Africa?

It struck me that the three-section method of storytelling might have been because they did not shoot quite enough footage to last the hour, or there was an accident with the reel containing a key explanatory scene! There was rather a lot of repetition, but perhaps it was just the simplest way to relay a fairly complex plotline.

I thought Maya's 'Yes, I've got a BOYFRIEND', as if this was a major achievement on her part, and likely to be entirely unexpected on Lucas's, was not the best scripted line in history. Almost expected her to add 'Na na na na na'!

Lucas couldn't stand Beth last week, and in the time it has taken Dimitri's arm to heal, he is smirking at her and making 'tlc' phone calls. Strange. But I agree she might serve the purpose of taking Harry's focus off Lucas.

I liked the way that Harry obviously knew Westhouse and his family quite well, but kept quiet about it with the h/secretary. Harry obviously values national security more highly than personal relationships, so watch out Ruth!

FINALLY....after years and years of waiting for my much deserved Lucas/Harry moment....at least I got a handshake!!

Okay, so it's not the hug or Lucas getting a cookie moment I was hoping for, but I guess a handshake will do...for now at least...I am expecting happy hugs and teary-eyed moments....
