Thanks! I was just watching the extra's on series 4 and PF said that he would like to go on as long as he liked the scripts. His absence from the pre season interviews made me worry that perhaps he was no longer happy with the scripts but you have reassured me.

*touches wood* Not as far as we know. I think it was mentioned in another interview recently (which I didn't read as I was trying to avoid spoilers at the time) that Peter said he would keep working, as he had three children to put through College.

Personally I think there was more meat to the bones of Harry this season, certainly a lot lot more than S8. As an actor, that must make the whole filming process a lot more interesting. Last season (apart from 8.1) all Peter really had to do was sit in his office, talk on his mobile phone, or be hunched over a desk on the Grid.

I hope S10 has a distinct Harry storyline. S9 was all about Lucas, which I confess I found rather annoying after awhile...not nearly enough Harry for my liking! I must watch it again and skip through the non-Harry bits.

Huge thanks to Tigerwolf for sharing her copies of "That's Life" with Tea Lady and me. What a star!

PF is really cute in That's Life. Plays a dishevelled college tutor who's got a drink problem. I think it's the shabby but loveable thing I like most. He's the best part of the series.

Yes, thanks a million Tigerwolf. I've only seen snippets so far, including Peter singing in the bar!! But Peter does look great. He seems to suit the part. Was there only one series of That's Life? Does anyone know if it was cancelled?

Now this is going to upset Tigerwolf But thanks to the lovely Mrs Pearce on the PFF, it appears SKY channel 149 (CBS Drama) Will be showing "That's Life." Starting on December 19th.

LOL that is great news, but yes typical, blimey, it is like waiting for a bus, nothing then they arrive altogether. Still about time, they let us Brits see it.

How long have we been after this blinking series !!!!!!

This show is familiar in a very vague kind of way to me. I had completely forgotten about it until you guys brought it up. I do remember watching an episode or two and liking the premise a lot as well as the leading lady. It was one of those that I didn't make a point to watch but if the stars aligned, nothing else was on and I had control of the remote, I would. It had the "Joisey" stereotype firmly in place but it was not too broadly played. What I remember liking the most was Lydia's unconventional take on the discussions in her psych class. I do not remember PF as the professor at all - bad me - but I remember digging the character! Unfortunately, I do not much like Paul Sorvino, so that soured me a bit. I like Ellyn Burstyn, my reason for catching it initially, but the character didn't showcase her talents enough for me.

I think it went on for a couple of seasons of around 20 episodes (the norm for us) but I could be wrong about that. The timing looks as if PF may have started Spooks soon after it was canceled?

According to the PFF they have been repeating this series in the US recently as well, on the Universal/HD channel.

Two more of Peter's films are showing in the UK before Christmas.

Mighty Joe Young is on the Disney Cine Channel (631 I think) on 19th December. I haven't seen this yet. Big monkeys always make me cry, especially if they get blown up at the end.

Shadowlands is on Sunday 12th December on TCM channel at 6pm. I have seen this, but many years ago. Very good film although I don't think Peter's part is very big at all.
