Ardbeg whiskey
Hey all, in light of today's sad news, I plan on buying a bottle of Harry's whiskey of choice, Ardbeg, and having a glass duiring the final series. I was wondering if anyone could shed light on exactly what kind of Ardbeg Harry drinks? Any help would be much appreciated!

John

Hi John,

I don't know what type of Ardbeg exactly he drinks but the 10 year old bottle I bought taste very nice. The bottle resembles Harry's but I know that means nothing. I think I'll be joining you sipping away as the last series is shown.

cheers, Pook

Wonderful stuff, Ardbeg. Not to mention it has a kick like a mule. Just the thing for watching Spooks final series.

RE: Ardbeg whiskey
Finally got round to trying Ardbeg 10 last night. By christ, it's powerful! I've decided on Jim Beam Red Stag for the Final episode. I've booked the night off work and everything. May even wear my suit and tie, as a mark of respect for Harry/The show. I'm a sad git, I know.

It does have some punch - very deceptive, looking at the hue of it. Very wood / smoke flavor - what I liked is it didn't take my breath away (vapors in the lungs) as it trickled down like most whiskys do.

Not as big a punch as the price & £60.00 does stick in the throat.Harry must put it on expenses
I think i will have to wear my belstaff & have a Bell's whiskey @ least we will save on heating
if Harry had proper taste he would drink cragganmore single malt.

And Cragganmore is cheap???

Well, Sunday it's Ardbeg for me. Here's to Harry. And Ruth. And hopefully a celebratory drink.
