but to do so she is exiled from her own country, has to leave behind all her friends and family and never see them again, and is shipped off to a different continent all on her own (to begin with anyway)...

Well I suppose one could argue that Tom got a happy ending too. He got to go live out a normal life while the people he knows and worked with and those that came after him have all met rather nasty ends.

Aren't those somewhat the same conditions Ruth was living in Cipre? I think Ruth was happy, not perfectly happy -actually she didn't love George, while if Zoe got married, I assume she loved the man- but it could be considered a happy ending...even more if compared to others.

I think that Ros dying the explosion is not really a fit way for her to go
Anyone could die in an explosion, although it would be annoying and kinda pointless for her to die in ep1 I think it would be better for her to die in a situation of her own choice (if that makes sense)

What could be better than dying to save Harry's life? She caused Jo's death (and indirectly even Adam's), she would think it is appropriate.
