I still think that somehow Lucas/John is Albany, especially when I read on another Spooks blog that the tattoo on Lucas's chest which is William Blake's Ancient of Days and that there is an Anglican hymn called Ancient of Days but was also known as "Albany"

Surely someone must have read this little tidbit?

I know the photo was part of the promo for the series and the opening episode, there was big discussion about the authenticity of it before series 9 started. What I meant was, why use it again now? I don't think any of the other pre season photos have been used again. There's probably little significance, you're right that it's wise to take the Wylie blogs with a pinch of salt, but he gives the best taster for what's coming up. He's one of the few blogs written by an obvious fan.

I see what you are saying Naivety. Do you think Wylie is trying to give us a message? Perhaps it's one of those Nitrus stenography things again. Unless all the other promo photos were just vomit inducing. The five I saw on Film Review Online for 9.8 were all of John and Maya!! Eeesh. I'm willing to believe anyway.

I'm grasping at anything to give me some hope. At the moment I can't help feeling a bit flat. After quite a bit of H/R stuff in the early part of the series we've had very little recently, and 9.7, although there was loads, it's all going in the wrong direction. I would even admit to feeling a bit depressed after Monday's episode. So that photo has given me a teeny weeny bit of hope. Cheesecake, anyone? Wink

I know I have got every "read" wrong so far but I won't give up. If Harry is saying goodbye to Catherine and Graham, there has to be a goodbye to Ruth as well, surely? Whether that is in person, from a distance, or in a message. He wouldn't just go off to do his "Harry stuff" without saying goodbye to Ruth???? It wouldn't make sense! There will be a moment in this episode, there will be.

We only ask for small moments Kudos. Just something to sustain us through the next 10 months....

I'll probably need therapy by the time the finale episode ends......I will have to control myself from going on the forum to read anything because I actually want to totally surprise myself this time without any preconceived influences from reading reactions on the forum! Smile

AAAHHHH, Thank you George, I completely agree with Bravonine re Lucas but the clip soothes my worries a little regarding Ruth !
