This is getting annoying. The week 6 programmes have been released by BBC and no South Riding. I think you are correct YHF, Lark Rise to Candleford finishes 13th Feb. That leaves the Sunday night slot free. |

RE: Peter Firth
They usually start advertising dramas like this weeks in advance. Hopefully they will start soon.
Going back to White Angel for a mo, I'm sure this has been shared before on this site, me being a newbie, but I just wanted to say how lovely it was to hear on the dvd commentary how grateful the director was to Peter Firth for his contribution to the movie. As well as praising his performance to the skies, he pointed out how he pretty much quietly directed the whole thing, whilst giving all credit to the director. Because his performance was so outstanding, he transformed the film from a pretty grotesque slasher movie into a quality indy film that won awards. How great is that? And so generous of the director to acknowledge it so fullsomely. PS. That said, the thing that I can't get out of my head about that film was the bizarrely hairy arms of the females in it! Did the casting director have a "thing"? |

RE: Peter Firth
Finally saw The Pleasure Principle. All I can say about it is that PF must have enjoyed making that film...

RE: Peter Firth
I also just saw Pleasure Principle and yes, Peter must surely have enjoyed filming this!!
Say when you're an actor who doesn't like kissing (well not only...) than this film would definately not have been your thing ;-)) Actually I was expecting something really different considering the stories of those who had seen this film before but I found it really amusing and quite sweet. |
