Ha! I was looking for the book to download to my Kindle but it's not available yet. I'll look out for the one with Peter on it.

"Where's Harry?"
"Moving in mysterious ways."

Ditto about sad behaviour.....I've already ordered a copy of South Riding on DVD (released on 14th Feb), and I don't know if it's any good yet!!!

Although, of course it's going to be good, it's got the lovely PF in it. Hope he's not too minor a character and has a decent amount of screen time.

My leg would be very badly bruised by now, A Cousin. Wink I assume Peter would have been fully clothed in Amadeus.

What if the weather closes in Watchstrap and his flight is cancelled?? Silba

Is he?? Thanks for that info Yorkshiretyke. I will order it.

So I guess if South Riding DVD is released on Monday 14th Feb, and the BBC press office has no mention of South Riding being shown up until week 4, then my guess would be that the three parts will be shown on Sunday nights, 30th Jan, 6 Feb, and 13Feb.

I won't tell anyone, Obsession, if you don't tell anyone that I read them! (By the way, do let us know when and where we can read your current one.)

I was in Waterstone's last week with my daughter. I'd just chosen a copy of "Any Human Heart" that didn't have the TV cast on the front, saying to my daughter that I didn't like having TV or film casts on the covers in case it looked like I only read books if I'd liked the film (snobby, I know). I then spotted South Riding with PF on the back. Had to wait until my daughter had left the shop before I bought it. Blush
Agree about Peter being too pretty for me when he was younger. He is just perfect now. That said, I do remember him in Doubledeckers when I was a mere babe and "fancying" him then as he was the cute, cheeky one. Didn't realise it was the same person, of course, until the post-Spooks obsession began and all things PF had to be investigated.

Lol, love this site it makes me feel so normal Smile

Just watched white angel and am grinning from ear to ear for some stupid reason. I may have missed the warning about it containing a shower scene....

Can't wait for South Riding to start. I overhead someone at the pub mention Feb 5th (I'm visiting Yorkshire right now.) The waistcoat sounds rather delicious, not to mention the scowl.

Either you're normal or we're all equally deranged!

Pleased to hear White Angel made you smile, as I've just ordered it. Can't wait now!
