RE: Peter Firth
I've been assuming they're like TOGS - only Peter's Old Gits and Nicola's Old Gits.

RE: Peter Firth
A POG is a Peter Obsessed Girl (or Guy, for that matter!). Not sure what a NOG is. There's also a HOG - a Harry Obsessed Girl.

"Where's Harry?"
"Moving in mysterious ways."

RE: Peter Firth
So that means, together we're all SOGs! (Funny that, considering the 'wet' branch of the forces are referred to as SOGGIES ... for quite another reason.)

I guess we are! Or we could be SOPs - Spooks Obsessed People. Not sure that's any better, though!

"Moving in mysterious ways."

RE: Peter Firth
I quite like the idea of being a Soggy. But come to think of it, being a Soppy is even more appropriate. Smile

RE: Peter Firth
I think I must be a Soppy Hoggy Poggy.
BTW, I note from the PF forum that his eps of Heartbeat (7, I think) are on ITV3 from 14th. Must look out for them, although I've got four of them thanks to TeaLady. My other half will declare me insane for watching Heartbeat and growl when I say I'm only watching because of Firthy.

Like it.

Thanks for the heads up about Heartbeat. Luckily all my loved ones will be back at their various unis etc so I can watch what I want without explanation or excuse!

(Casts off business persona, crouches over iPad, looks furtively left and right)
Soggy Hoggy Poggys of the world unite! Oh ... we are, right here.
It's so nice not to have to hold back and pretend to be a NOWS or, even harder, a NOWH (Not Obsessed with Spooks, Not Obsessed with Harry...) - though I am slowly subverting friends and even a sibling in the land of the Cousins to the Cause.
