RE: Spooks Locations
Is it me or have we hardly seen anything of Freemasons Hall this series (apart from the usual "Thames House" shots and the closing shot of episode 1)? The HS also seems to have a new office which cant be in Freemasons Hall as he seems to be on the ground floor now and have trees outside his window.

I know they didn't use the same house in 5.9 as they did in 4.9. Neil Cross and Katie Swindon talked about it on the commentary. It's hard to tell if it was the same place in 7.7.

JHyde, I dont think he has moved. I really think he is in the same house in 4.9 as he was in 7.7. The windows are the same and so is the view through the windows. I stand to be corrected though. On what disc is this commentary and I will have a little looky? Smile

RE: Spooks Locations
It may have just been a different house for 5.9, but I'm sure Katie Swindon and Neil Cross were talking about it being a different place from what they'd used before. that shot of Harry at home is very early in the episode, so if you can take a squiz that would be super!

RE: Spooks Locations
Well done JHyde, that wasn't an easy location Wink Tongue Thanks for putting it up here.

On the same note

Spoiler: show
Lucas ran after Ashok through the aquarium next to the London Eye Tongue And Tom met up with Christine there in series 2 episode 4, in front of exactly the same exhibit.

DANNY - Placements all over the shop. Back up vehicles, chopper support if we need it. Bomb disposal with a signal jammer for Mary’s trademark remote control blasts. And Tom here’s doing the catering. Mate. You are so covered.

RE: Spooks Locations
I forgot they met there too! Nice catch. I love aquariums as locations, I think their lighting is incredible and lends TV a real cinematic feel.

RE: Spooks Locations
Spooks really do like the London eye - I'm rewatching 1.3 and Tessa walks down Chicheley Street, crosses Belvedere Road and down the Pedestrianised bit.

BTW do we need to put "spoilers" in the thread name or not really? Just because we're in the General area, and anything above S1 has to be in spoiler tags, or does it not count here as it's not plot details, just episode numbers and locations?

RE: Spooks Locations
Anything after season 1 is spoilers, as a rule. My comment about aquariums was general Smile

We've tried to make some threads with spoilers and some without.

RE: Spooks Locations
Yes! I think it may have even been the same Aquarium given that it was in London.

Spoiler: show
You know, I reckon Sarah's flat might have been used before too. In 3.3. As a safe house for Harrikhat. But I would have to watch 3.3 again to know that.

RE: Spooks Locations
My mum spotted that the sports centre used in 8.7 (nearly the end of series 8! Sad) is Crystal Palace National Sports Centre, and she thinks the outdoor scenes where they're all driving away in the car is at the same location. (I have never been so happy that my mum has come into my room and interrupted my procrastination - she also came in to tell me that it was snowing Big Grin)

(The cars drive from the bottom right, round the outdoor stadium and out to the left.)
