RE: Peter Firth
PF usually does at least one of the morning shows in the lead up. But they may instead send Sophia Myles on her first turn around for the show, I expect - they are probably banking on her to bring in some of the younger viewers given her more recent choices as an actress.

Many thanks to Tyger for a terrific signature

PM me your address and I'll send you DVDs. Let me know what else you're looking for - I'll check if I have it.

RE: Peter Firth
A thought - open to discussion...

I've been swapping PF stuff with a couple of people recently - they have work of his that I don't and vice versa, etc. and I wondered whether others would like to do that, too. I was thinking of setting up a new thread just for people to tell others what stuff they have and would be willing to copy.

Importantly, no money changes hands - it's strictly friendly and swapping. If you've got nothing of PF's that the other person needs, then agree a swap of something else (postage stamps, chocolate, etc) just to cover that person's costs of making a DVD.

If I do go ahead with it (depending on reaction here), it'll have to be on The Grid, though, and it'll be strictly between Spooks. (If you're not a fully fledged Spook, it only costs a few bucks - why not jump in and join us?!!) It'll also be strictly on the basis that the Spooks Forum is not to be held responsible for stuff going missing in the post - we'll have to be grown up about it.

Thoughts?

RE: Peter Firth
Got round to watching Me & Mrs Jones today. Well, lets just say our man Firth, sure can wear a suit! He looked fab. He played a chief aid to the Prime Minister, and played it quite camp (unusual for our Peter Angel ) Certainly worth watching for the ties and waistcoats.

As for the film itself. It was unique. Unique as it is the only film I have ever watched where every single character has been totally miscast. The PM and Harry were awful. As for the journalist Keeley Hawes played Confused
Terrible, terrible, terrible !!

Actually, I think Peter was miscast, too - and totally wasted. Suits and waistcoats aside, he seems to have phoned that one in...

Filming what, TL? Huh Can we expect to see the marvellous PF in something other than Spooks this year? Hope so.Vueltasss

Apparently yes. The boy's IMDb account has been updated to show that he will be in all 3 episodes of "South Riding" which is due to be shown on the BBC in Jan 2011. He is playing Alderman Snaith.

Hoping for a slightly bigger part than he had in Blood & Oil.

RE: Peter Firth
Well it promises to be a good series. Andrew Davies wrote the script to Pride and Prejudice, the one with Colin Firth in it. And the cast is great. But our lovely PF must be a long way down the cast list which is a shameSad

RE: Peter Firth
Thanks for that, TL. I'm glad someone's finally updated his IMDB account, too - about time! Shame they haven't updated the photos, though.
