Mia_ if you have the DVD's for this series then it is worth watching the commentary for this episode where they discuss this scene in quite some depth. The commentary is also very funny. Smile

I read the posts about the commentaries. And I'm very intrigued. I'm very ashamed to say that despite owning all the DVDs I have so far never watched an episode with the commentary

I think Vicki was just a rebound girl and tool to get the Tom/Christine thing going.

RE: Episode 5 Discussion [rewatch]
I love this episode, every minute it keeps you in your toes. Like everyone said Harry was amazing, you totally believe that it’s a real attack. But one of the things that I really like about the episode is that it force you to see the obligations and the philosophy of the agents, the responsibility is so strong that they have to make difficult decision no matter what is the consequences of theirs decisions.

And poor Tom he had to be the leader, and everyone questioned him about his decisions. One of the scenes that I remember most is:

Spoiler: show
When Malcom asked Tom if he understood that the girl could die while she was gathering the information for Tom, and he peacefully said Yeah.

I think with that scene you have to see how strong you have to be to make that kind of decision.

For me this episode it’s one of the reasons why I love this show!

Ps: Sorry for the grammar mistakes Blush

This one has to be my favourite episode of all.

I really like fast paced that don't give you time to breath - and this one delivered!

It's one of my favourite too. I've watched it yesterday and I agree with you, Harry is great. I like the scene in which Tom confesses he doesn't know what he should do.

Angry I haven't got the commentary on mine (French version) Moreover, each episode is shorter about 6minutes. I really need to buy an english one!

Fred, I know it's not the same thing, but lwhite63 has done summaries of a lot of the episode commentaries, including for S2 E5 Smile

RE: Episode 5 Discussion [rewatch]
i love this ep. i love that from the get go every moment it gets more tense. looking at it last night it as almost like harry ramped up the pressure when he saw them laughing and joking putting on the suits.

its funny how everyone has ther emoment and i to was suprised how much tom relied on Ruth compared to Danny and Zoe. but that said zoe is really fragile as this ep starts and goes on due to the events of the ep before. i think that the first time i watched it tom was in on it being a test but i realise now he wasnt and his face at the end says it all.

i love the ending, its simply messes with the heads of the team. zoe is following toms lead and its evident by her shaking how scared she is.

infact it takes harry to take the gun from tom. and harryhugging zoe i thought was lovely and he kept doing it for a long time to.

I think a lot of people like this particular episode. It was such a brilliant idea for a storyline and so well executed.

rewatched it again last night and i always find something new in it! both Zoe and Tom are struggling before this happenes!

i wonder if thats why harry chose to do it when they did because he knew they have stuff going on!
