Hmmmmm maybe next series we will learn that Lucas is really still alive but just in a catatonic state or something and they had put him in a mental institution!

I mean, we don't even have to see his face, they can just show the back of his head since RA can't be there to film! That way they can still try to talk to him and we can just watch the back of his head!
