Yeah, the coffin is hilarious! It's just stuck in the middle as if it were "tea pot".
Series S4 & S6 dead agents Spoiler: show I don't know what this means for Spooks specifically, but I can say that the general practice is not unusual. Costume and props shows will regularly sell off stuff they can't use anymore. Most will rent out their stuff too. It's simply a way to make money and/or recoup investment. Now cracks a noble heart.
