Spooks movie?!?

Peter Firth confirmed at the Peterborough Galaxy event two weeks ago that they were doing a movie which should start filming next year. He said it was nearly there, in terms of planning. He also said it will be a cinema release. I can confirm he said this as he said it to myself who was there and also to other fans over the weekend. I think he also talked about it at the Spooks talk he held on the Sunday morning with other actors from the show. I think there is a voice only recording of this on YouTube. I haven't got round to listening to this myself but apparently Peter said it will be set post series ten.

Anyway, until we get the official nod from Kudos, it's not a definite, but the fact Peter was talking about it so openly, surely means he was given the official nod to start talking about it.

I'm no expert in film production but I would imagine they have the funding in place ( and perhaps always did since series ten finished) and they are just sorting out getting directors and writers on board. I always said if they were going to do a film or mini spin off series, we would probably hear by the Summer, so fingers crossed Mystic Meg here, is right
