In spooks S1, there was an episode where the team dealt with an Intel Officer from the French foreign intelligence service... The concept could be furthered, and we could imagine one episode filmed in London with the French actors, the next in Paris with the MI5 actors chasing an IRA cell which never heard of the Good Friday Agreement, as they were left as sleepers in the depth of rural Burgundy...

How about MI5 and MI6 having to work together on a case? That should be interesting as they seem to hate each other's guts, so a few sparks should fly!
