RE: [spoilers] Nicola Walker
Glad you enjoyed the show, SweetTea. All of the cast did a brilliant job, I thought. Listening to it again this year, I was struck by how effective Rupert Graves's delivery of his lines was, for an audio only performance. Of course, Nicola in sarcastic mode is always hugely entertaining. I hope the BBC will repeat this again soon. The BBC has such a wonderful range of radio shows and it's so great being able to listen to them outside the UK. Saves me having to put up with the local rubbish.
And in other news, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time at the Cottesloe/NationalTheatre is fast selling out, so get your tickets early. I know that a lot of the good seats have gone, for now (always the possibility of returns), but given that the Cotteloe is a small studio only with maximum capacity of 300, you should be able to get a good view of the stage wherever you sit. I am hopeful for a longer season, in due course, and a transfer to a bigger venue. Lost in NicolaLand |
