RE: Beth Bailey
I think she'll give us a few nice surprises over the series... bet she can give Lucas a good run for his money in the 'going off-grid' stakes Smile

RE: Beth Bailey
I think she's a terrific character and will liven up the grid a great deal. Absolutely loved her scene with Harry when she said she was ready for all the bulls*** she was going to get for her career choices. I think even H was impressed by how straight-forward she seems to be ("seems" being the operative word there).

RE: Beth Bailey
I like her very much. She will bring humour to the grid, and may get Ruth to lighten up a little. Lucas is lovely but I do get fed up with the mean and moody thing sometimes.

RE: Beth Bailey
Yes, it would be nice if Beth's cheerful nature could rub off a little on Ruth but I have my doubts. I think Beth is close to the same age as Jo was, which will be nice and refreshing. Beth is clearly ruthless and determined to get results. She did not hesitate when deciding to drag the parents into the bedroom. She has balls, I will give her that.

RE: Beth Bailey
She has good instincts for what might work. But bringing in the parents DIDN'T work - the kid held out. Beth had an interesting reaction to that. It seemed to confuse or shock her a bit.

Besides, someone needs to give the writers a reason to write sarcastic quips. Wink

And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.

RE: Beth Bailey
I'm not sure about her yet. I need to watch the episode again. I saw it yesterday and it was a bit late, so I didn't pay the attention it deserved.

I agree, it would be a good addition to the Grid, she will bring more idiosyncracy and different kinds of interactions, between characters.

RE: [Spoilers] Beth Bailey
I thought her introduction was good and hopefully she'll give Lucas some grief. Fingers crossed the programme will show her and Ruth in a domestic setting.

I really liked her. Have a feeling she'll be a breath of fresh air.

RE: [Spoilers] Beth Bailey
I think Beth was the only one who even got half a smile out of Harry in 9.1!
