Great summary, JHyde.

And adding comments to:

And also - he really isn't very good at saying the words 'I am a spy'. Remember that Elizaveta didn't know either and it doesn't look like Maya will. Does anyone else think Maya will be killed off? That seems to be where this is heading.

If Lucas has one brain atom left, he WON'T EVER tell Maya. In fact, he shouldn't tell ANYONE in his private life. As to Maya's longevity (spec only, but I'll put it in a Spoiler) :
Series 9 Spoiler: show
I'd say she's killed in either episode 7 or 8, by Vaughan (to get Lucas to react to whatever Vaughan's ultimate goal is) or by Lucas (when he finds out her secret and/or when she betrays him)

I think that Owen's bank details were readily available because Five has to pay him for work, after all. Lucas probably had looked them up beforehand.

Many thanks to Tyger for a terrific signature

Could I ask our UK colleagues: Do medical doctors in hospitals wear heels THAT HIGH? I would've thought if you're on your feet all day, you'd want something more comfortable. I realise there's a slight height disparity between RA and LR, but...?

There has been so many observations and thoughts to read about after this episode, I just marvel at people's powers of observation and conjecture. Idea

The only thing I am sure of out of all of it is that Harry (at least) knows all about John and all his previous connections including Vaughn. What that says about what I have seen or means for what is going to happen I still don't know, but after all my reading I certainly have some possibilities to send my mind spinning. Vueltasss

It remains a fascinating (and nervous for me) series and thanks everyone for their ideas.

I should have added that I would love Kai's story to continue and end better, and there must be some hope of that given the last scene indicating the Chinese are going to be in more than episode 4.

Until recent times in Australia when carpet has come to the fore, they would have sunk into the vinyl floors. Big Grin

I thought that this had echoes of Beth "appearing" to be disgusted/disdainful regarding Kai* being turned so easily. A kind of master/slave psychological power game in running an asset.

Meanwhile, a great performance from Benedict Wong, but still slightly disconcerting to see him as a quinruple agent after only associating him with Vince in Fifteen Stories High!

As much as I like Robert Glenister as an actor, I always thought that the writers had him saying the most obvious things: "You must stop it!" "You must find him!" and so on. If I were in Harry's shoes, I would have long since replied with a "Oh, well, if you think so. I'd intended letting the bomb detonate and killing dozens of innocent people. But thanks for the tip.". At least with the current HS the dialogue isn't so trite (thus far)

Ha ha! How true. That's if the lift got them to the floor in the first place. Welcome, TEHI.

Sorry, I've been away again (can't say where; you understand. Oh ok then, my pc was giving me jip).

Is it me or is this series actually rather good?

Someone mentioned Nightingale above: anybody else find it odd that after the assassination of Blake, everybody in 5 seems to have forgotten about this extremely well-funded global spiderweb?

I know I have posted this photo already, but here goes it again. His bank account details were on his record.

Odd yes, but thank goodness they all have, because the Nightingale storyline sucked big time.
