Do you think Ruth is taken? As when Harry, Dimentri and Beth came into the room they just stood and stared as if someone was dead....but from the episiode 8 summary we all know she is in danger and still alive..

As for Ruth, it could be that she is taken by Vaughn's employers to force Harry's hand about the whole Albany file thing after maybe Vaughn failing to get Lucas to do it? It could be that they want to exchange Ruth for Lucas.

And maybe this is Lucas's redeeming act, he gives himself up to Vaughn's employers so that Ruth can come back safely. Maybe the last shot of the series we see is Lucas being taken away by the bad guys after giving himself up to save Ruth, and next series could be the team devoting their time and resources to bring Lucas back home!

After the trailer on ep. 6, I've been comparing the summaries for this episode and ep. 8 and

it looks to me like they might be covering the same story from different POVs... which makes me concerned about Ruth in ep. 7. I'm hoping that the shocked Dimitri/Harry looks are because Deery and Rigaut are dead and Ruth is alive and conveniently tied up somewhere else.

I don't think I'll be sleeping between now and next week. At all.

So the big secret is out, who Lucas really is and why he kept it all from Harry. I can now at least understand why Lucas fears that Maya and Harry would know the truth about what he did and hate him for lying.

And this also explains why Lucas became who he is as an agent and why he has been so loyal and risking his life to protect Queen and Country. So he is trying to redeem himself. That makes sense.

Although I am having a hard time believing that MI5's vetting process is so terrible that they didn't see this...

Somehow all this speculation is making me really furious but I can't avoid it. I can't remember having ever been so emotionally involved in a TV series...

I too fear that they will present us some horrible twist with Ruth but I just couldn't understand in any possible way how this would correspond to the personalities they have built up and have shown us in previous series. So although I really fear that they will make Ruth a traitor or something like this I really couldn't follow her motivation behind this and most important how they would try to make us believe this at all?

How is it possible they were allowed to publish revealing parts? All the reviewer who get the DVD previews surely have signed some kind of Non Disclosure Agreement (allowed to reveal only the bits that BBC Press Office approves).
Could be they put together known bits (collected through different other internet sources) with some of their own ideas (in particular the final part).
Can the website be trusted? In the gallery of who's who they write that Dimitri is "the ghost from Lucas past"!!!
